Back in Sweden again! Recordings with Xiao He of Glorious Pharmacy was completed in Beijing before the return back to the Motherland.
The band is working hard on the CD, and hope to finish it as soon as possible, hopefully in September.
A live date has also been confirmed, the 2nd of October at Blekingska Nationen in Lund, Sweden. More info soon!

Zebra Pares is planning two performances in Beijing in July together with local electronic musician A Dong.
We are also pleased to announce that Xiao He of Glorious Pharmacy has agreed to work with Zebra Pares for his upcoming CD.
Recording sessions will start next week.

Latest news: A new harddrive has been installed and there are two new songs up on Zebox.

Zebra Pares appeared as DJ and played a few of his own tracks on LeBang bar in Qingdao on the 24th of April.

Another huge setback for the band, the harddrive of the laptop broke down, and a huge collection of samples

Still problems with the updates of this page, mainly due to greed and laziness.
It´s quite expensive surfing the net legally here, but with a simple script or with the right proxy settings
you can roam the internet without paying a single fen. That´s how we do it, but there is a price to pay - no FTP!

So, the news then:
Zebra Pares has been working on music for the film "Passages", a film by young black metal director Yang Chao.
The music turned out a bit too much like the music in Shunji Iwai´s films for the man in black, but there are
further discussions going on about the score.
The band has also been discussing a collaboration with some of the local eclectronic acts of Beijing.
Inbetween sessions we try to study the Taoist and Confusian classics. The imperial exam is held in the mid of June.
